I decided to join the blogging world on a whim. I'm not even sure when blogging first began or if it's still the thing to do. I suppose a quick google search would answer the first question and I don't really care about the second, hence the reason for this blog.

I often find myself in the position of beginning conversations that others don't care to engage in. For as long as I can remember, superficiality has bugged me. I value real relationships and candid conversations. The way I understand it, there is nothing new under the sun, so very few topics should  be deemed taboo or inappropriate to discuss. After years of seeing the same blank stair returned to me I decided it was time to find a place where I can throw some of what's going on in my noggin out there. I don't consider myself a highly intelligent individual. I don't even necessarily like to be challenged but I'm a thinker and I can't turn that off.

I just may have found a place where I can have the conversations I've always wanted to have, say the things I've wanted to say and get some feedback. So here we go...
